During Bethesda's E3 2019 press conference, we learned about a new extension to the upcoming Fallout 76.Randlanders DLC that didn't land until this fall, but the online action RPG has received the latest updates from the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Problems, including graphics, loot, performance, etc.
Patch 10.5 went live on Tuesday, June 25, slightly below 3GB on the console and 1GB on the PC. The fix works for all game modes, a few specifically for nuclear winter, and a battle royale beta mode has seen extensions.
Bethesda has outlined several fixes in the graphics department, such as changing the blocky appearance of some shadows, dealing with visual corruption on the storm wall, and adjusting the Power Armor's headlight eye color. In addition, the interior of the Vault 51 is brighter, which makes navigation easier to manage.
Loot also has some changes, such as adjusting the speed of the supply box, changing the position of the automatic rifle, and the ability to mark certain Fallout 76 items as favorites in the Atomic Shop. The magazine has also been flipped over to make it easy to identify magazine types.
The Fallout 76 patch continues to address performance issues, and patch 10.5 is no exception. This update improves the load time of C.A.M.P. connected to the world and after a quick trip, fixes crashes during specific events such as fast trips, and reduces server disconnection after finding a nuclear winter game.
