BOTS are KILLING Lost Ark

Yes, as per it says in... There's no upgrade for everything right now in T3, just making dailies, leveling alts islands, and collecting collectibles!

The reason I started this topic is probably because I am sad to think that the game is dying because of bots, and no action is taken to stop it!

I have leveled up my new alts as well and all I see in lowbie levels zones is myself and no new players (expt certain old players who are who are collecting collectibles, probs and other like) ...

Additionally, many guilds are slowing dying, as even players with high levels of ilvl appear to be resigning from this game!

(ah Yes ... every day, i feel more tempted to quit ... )

I would not give up yet. Even my server that is extremely low in number of users was never reported as being full up to the last two weeks...like any time. It was like 800 hours. There was a ban wave that occurred one or two days prior that assisted a lot of lost ark gold. At the moment, its around 200k from the average. It's not even top of the steam charts right now.

They really are trying. However, because of the west having rules and regulations we follow. Then why would the citizens take it as a fact. How they can circumvent bots in other areas won't be effective for us. They will need time to figure out a better way to do it. At the very minimum. If enough time passes, the majority of the people who use rmt are going to be banned at some point and the bots will not sell as often and their number will fall very quickly.

Every time I upgrade an alt. I always transfer knowledge to Vern. It's been a couple of times during my 800 hours have I observed bots in areas other than Vern's on my servers. This means it's not as bad on servers with a lot of people absolutely.

I believe the player base is fairly healthy and stable. There are some who have taken off because of the high prices however the majority of these people were in the game from the beginning and are already high in ilvl and fully equipped. The reason we witnessed the explosion of bots was due to the fact that many people with a lot of money became frustrated and decided to purchase. The bots then need to buy more capacity to meet demand.

I'll be watching to see what happens, and then keep going with what I'm doing cause I love playing it. The bots don't hinder me from having fun even a bit. However, they can be a problem for players who believe they will progress at the same pace that those who pay in comparison to the f2p grind. In reality, this is not how most games operate. Pay-to-play mmos such as ESO offer benefits to those who pay.
