How Does Stormcharged Work in PoE 2?

Stormcharged is a Notable passive that offers the following benefits:

·20% increased Critical Hit Chance.

The term "Recently" refers to the last 4 seconds. So, if you land a Critical Hit on an enemy, you'll get a 40% bonus to all your Elemental Damage for the next 4 seconds. This bonus applies not only to the Elemental Damage from Critical Hits but to all your Elemental Damage during that time.

For example, builds like the Stormweaver Spark often use Controlled Destruction Support, which disables Critical Strikes on Spark. Although Spark itself cannot crit and trigger Stormcharged, using a skill like Orb of Storms (which can critically hit) to activate Stormcharged will apply the bonus to the Spark skill, massively boosting its damage.

How to Anoint Stormcharged in PoE 2

Instead of investing skill points in the path towards Stormcharged in the passive skill tree, you can anoint it onto an Amulet. Here's how to do it:

Required Materials:

·Distilled Fear (x2)

·Distilled Envy (x1)

These special Distilled Emotions are dropped by Delirium enemies in endgame Delirium maps. Alternatively, you can buy from Alva in the Path of Exile 2 Currency Exchange at your Hideout. However, Delirium enemies in maps accessed using Instilled Waystones do not drop Distilled Emotions.

Steps to Anoint Stormcharged:

1. Obtain Distilled Emotions: You can defeat Delirium enemies or buy Path of Exile 2 Currency to gather the required Distilled Fear (x2) and Distilled Envy (x1).

2. Anointing Process:

·Open your inventory and place the Amulet you want to anoint.

·Right-click on a Distilled Emotion to open the Instilling window.

·Place the Amulet in the top slot and the required Distilled Emotions in the row below (make sure to follow this order: Distilled Fear, Distilled Fear, Distilled Envy).

·If done correctly, the bottom text box will show Stormcharged. Click Instill to apply the anointing.
