Thoughts from a filthy casual

I am aware that I'm not a household name within the Diablo community and am just a random 37-year-old person who is a fan of Diablo. Diablo franchise. I've played all three games over the course of a long time and remain positive about everything Diablo.

Since Blizzcononline Diablo's news has been quiet. So, I'm hoping that this thread will gain momentum, but if I'm lucky I'll likely get to the bottom of the barrel and not be returned to the scene after just one day. The least I can do is get this off my chest, and perhaps someone else will consider it helpful.

I was hoping to start a discussions on other topics that are that are related to D4. There's still a lot we don't know, however I would like to discuss the things that we are aware of and do not need in D4. I'm sure most of us are worried and may have issues we are concerned about based on the things we have observed. We might be not willing to speak about this because it could be widely shared.

Be aware that it's constructive comments and feedback. If you think that the Diablo team would like to hear from us, then we should be courteous and provide solid proof to back our opinions and arguments.

Let me begin with some which have been on my thoughts and would like to see them removed or modified.

First of all, there is no movement speed in the skills. Don't include movement speed in any tree or skill. If you do I believe it is essential to always have at minimum one ability to move in your arsenal. Whatever type of size you are you will always need to master that one speed of movement regardless of synergy. We all want to speed up to improve efficiency. Therefore, you might still possess it, but let it roll to be an attachment to the gear. This way, you will still enjoy speed when you're lucky enough to roll it and you won't lose a talent spot to get it. This should make sense and allows for more build variety.

Second Critical Hit Chance Amount. Here we take a look. We're going to be slammed for this. This is the one that must be thrown out unless they are planning something different of what it typically does. We've all seen what this was doing in D3. Don't repeat the same mistake. If you've got this in your game, it's another essential stat that players would want to have over any other attachement. If you don't have a maximum amount that it will only be hit for. If it remains in the game I'd like it to only roll on a limited number of objects. Perhaps large weapons that strike slowly but have a high Crit hit probability to compensate for more speedy attacks by other weapons? This could work however, don't create a stat that all weapons.

Well, I didn't intend to make this post too long , but I hope that this is a good start to constructive feedback and perhaps be noticed by the developers. Trolls will always be trolls and it's easy to overlook these people, however I am interested in hearing other views, opinions and concerns. If you've have made it this far thanks for your time and I'm sure there are many other Diablo players just like me who keep the watch on what's happening. While juggling work and family with other obligations I know that I am excited for D4 and I hope to create lots of great memories playing this game. I am playing it with my children now.
