First of all, I agree that the decision to make Legion Raids a key feature in the previously casual-friendly game was a bad choice from Smilegate.

Then it's going to be even more difficult with progress completely blocked by more legion raids that are loaded with mechanichs, therefore if you're not a fan of these kinds of activities, it's probably time to leave right now.

But, Valtan raid itself is not that hard and actually fun, you don't really need godskills/friends/guilds etc to clear it. It is recommended to try at least this first before you decide to quit. To get direct into the issue, here's some general guidelines:

1. Prepare. Your engravings/gems/skill tripods - that will decide if you can get a decent group or below average one.

It is important to note that the lower your damage, the greater damage bosses deal to mechanics and it's very likely that there'll be only 3-4 people alive at the end, therefore your damage output for yourself is vital in this particular raid.

2. Write down an outline of your raid plan. Go through the video guide several times, then write down the boss mechanic to expect and at the HP bar, and what the value.

3. The raid is about destruction and counterattacks So it is advisable to do some practice prior to the raid.

Learn the skills that destroy (remember that destruction bombs will not be enough to kill Valtan for you to take him down fast! ) Learn what you can do are needed to counter them and alter your build to match.

4. Don't be afraid to use the party searcher. Some of you may find that matches, it's easier since it isn't possible to be rejected however Legion Raids need a really competent leader in order to advance rather than a random leader. If you're rejected, Try the next attempt.

5, Be patient. Don't think you can effortlessly complete this quest on the beginning to end or that all your fellow raiders get the same mechanics you learnt in perfect harmony with you. Try it out for yourself.

6. Some individuals be more adept at learning than others in the beginning, and eventually the ones who are slower to learn will likely become a burden. I think it's okay when your leader of the raid decides to clean up those have no chance of progressing at the moment or if those who are ahead of you and decide to end the raid. It's hard to let you think someone doesn't like playing with you. However, avoid drama and remove those who wish to end their relationship. It is better to find people who agree with the current level of play and let them clear the raid.

7. Don't attempt to complete it in one sitting If your search lasts longer than two hours, it's becoming ineffective because the people fatigued and unable to concentrate. Pause and take a break or start morning. You'll be amazed by what seemed like a formidable wall at first will easy to break down the next day.

8. Be clear about the title of your lobby when you make one. It is not GIGACHADS only or FAST CLEAR. However, blind learning/guide learned/ Experienced as high as 30 bar/ Experience as high as Ghost Voice/ Phase only, and the list goes on. It will help you stay away from the majority of point six situations.

9. This raid does not require a voice communications. It only has a handful of mechs that need to an exchange of information between gamers (3 counters, and... I'm unable to recall any others I can think of) and they are able to be planned ahead. Voice can assist you during the an active learning phase. Perhaps the reverse is true in the case of chatty people / leaders who want to be bootscamp sergeant, etc.

10. Don't get too disappointed if you didn't get rid of Valtan within your first few days. This week, it's going be much simpler since more players are learning the game and the average damage increases due to the new equipment available. If you are feeling overwhelmed by the raid, then you can skip the next 1-2 weeks. You don't risk losing much.
