Much like the Detroit Lions, last week we pulled out all the stop to try and get the team a win against the Los Angeles Rams. We resorted to more drastic measures than the Lions’ strategy of just running trick play after trick play. We just straight up undid the Matthew Stafford trade in the hopes that he could lead the Lions to a win one last time against a reunited Jared Goff and Rams team.

It didn’t work.

But all this week, the talk has been about how things can finally change this week. The Philadelphia have lost five of their last six games, have a coaching staff that’s under fire from both fans and some players, and actually match up nicely to the Lions.

The Lions have played most of their opponents tough, but they’ve also had a few letdown games after emotional losses. And after last week’s emptying of the trick bag plus a west coast trip, there is certainly the possibility that the Lions don’t give it their all this week.

So to foresee into the future, we’re going to run our weekly Madden sims, which have been annoyingly accurate thus far.
